Ted is coming to town!
23 Jun 2017
We’re excited for the next big name, Ted Baker, to join Gloucester Quays’ High Orchard Street.
The store opens on June 30th and will bring quirky fashion and super smart design all encompassed with a custom designed unit.
While the finishing touches are made to the store, it’s time to learn a bit more about the newest addition to the centre.
Who is Ted Baker?
Founded in Glasgow as a menswear shirt specialist in 1987, Ted Baker later opened further stores in Manchester and Nottingham before Covent Garden store opened in 1990. Today it is a global lifestyle brand with stores across the world.
A quirky sense of humour has been present since the early days – the first store used to provide a complimentary laundry service for each shirt purchased.
Where will the Gloucester store be?
The new outlet will be on High Orchard Street, just next door to All Saints and down from Calvin Klein and GAP.
What can we expect?
With a nod to Gloucester’s history as the home of Walls Ice Cream, you can expect lots of sweet treats, pastel shades and fun props in store. Stylish shoppers will love the cute palettes and feminine florals, whilst sophisticated chaps can expect the smart tailoring Ted is famous for.
This new Ted Baker store will have mid-century style decor and feature fixtures, with a colour pallet of pastel shades, timber and white factory tiles.
Watch this space for more news of our opening offers.
And don’t forget the Orchard Street Fair Food and Craft Market takes place during the opening weekend, bringing fresh food flavours from local producers.
