Blue skies are here today which is just fabulous considering how much rain we've all been having . We are hoping for sunshine to accompany the Dragon Boat Regatta this Sunday which starts at 10 am .This spectacular race features varying size teams but each team has a drummer whose drum beats are considered to be the heart beat of the boat settingthe rhythm and pace . It's colourful , symbolic ,full of family fun and live music too with the whole aim of the day to raise money for the CLIC Sargent charity . The race starts off in the Historic Docks and we would like to wish every one taking part Good Luck !!

How excited are we? We had fingers, toes and eyes crossed in anticipation of the decision from city planners as to whether or not our new cinema, restaurant and bar (aka Leisure Quarter!) scheme would be approved, and it has been, unanimously. So now it's all stations go!
Building works will start really soon to bring a new, 10 screen state of the art digital cinema to Gloucester, plus plenty of new eating and drinking experiences, and although we can't say just yet who's coming, we can tell you it's going to be AMAZING!
Restaurants and bars will start opening up before Christmas we hope, with the cinema due to open in October next year. Keep checking the GQ blog for updates as and when we can reveal more...
