Tom Kerridge to headline Gloucester Quays Food Festival
26 May 2016
Our favourite TV chef, Tom Kerridge, is returning to his home city of Gloucester to appear in our fantastic Food Festival, 22-24 July. Over three delicious days, we are delighted to have an all-star line-up including the nation’s baking sweetheart Nadiya Hussain, plus Reggae Reggae Sauce entrepreneur Levi Roots, who also will be cooking up some treats for everyone with a taste for fine food and drink!
Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya, who recently hit the headlines again when she baked the Queen’s official 90th birthday cake, is heading to Gloucester Quays on Friday 22 July to showcase some of the exclusive recipes that have made her a national star.
On Saturday, our main man, Tom Kerridge will share the skills, plus the warmth and keen sense of humour that has made him a household name. Having grown up in Gloucester, he says he’s very much looking forward to returning to the city and meeting everyone at this year's Food Festival.
On Sunday 24 July, it will be the turn of Levi Roots to entertain the visitors with his Caribbean inspired sunshine recipes. Levi soared to fame when he appeared on TV’s Dragon’s Den with his now famous Reggae Reggae Sauce.
Over all three days, in the Kids Cookery Zone, young foodie fans will be able to cook up a storm with hands-on guided cooking sessions for children from the award-winning Kids Cookery School. And if that wasn't enough, our junior chefs will also enjoy food-themed activities and games.
