Choctastic Opening for Thornton’s at Gloucester Quays
Thorntons will be opening its doors to shoppers on 10th September at Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet.
To celebrate its opening, on the 12th September the store will be hosting a choctastic line up of chocolate themed events including chocolate painting, chocolate tasting and icing workshops. The events promise to be a hit with all chocolate lovers, young and old and will see the store officially open in true style.
The workshops will be run by James Lock, Store Manager at Thorntons, Gloucester Quays. James first started working with Thornton’s two years ago and has helped develop a creative and unique project in the UK; painting canvases with chocolate as a medium which visitors to Gloucester Quays can see in action on Saturday.
James Lock, Store Manager at Thorntons Gloucester Quays said, "Thorntons are proud to be opening a store within such a prestigious development. We look forward to delighting chocoholics of all ages!"
Richard Rawlings, Centre Manager for Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet said, “We are pleased to welcome Thorntons to Gloucester Quays, they are one of the countries best loved chocolate retailers and their store opening events are sure to be popular with shoppers”.
Thornton’s was founded in 1911 and was made famous with its toffee, since then it has expanded to almost 400 shops and cafes and 200 franchises as well as a corporate and mail order service.
