Action Packed Line Up of Events This Bank Holiday at Gloucester Quays!

Kicking off our week of fun at Gloucester Quays Outlet is The Warehouse Climbing Centre who are bringing the climbing wall on Tuesday 23rd August. For a small fee kids and big kids alike can come down to the Quays to try out their skills.

From 25th August Gloucester Quays swaps its rope for rigging and marks the start of a Pirate-tastic week of fun!

From 25th - 29th August Gloucester Quays outlet will have free pirate themed workshops including make your own Jolly Roger flag, pirate hat and treasure map, free face painting and balloon modelling from 11am – 4pm in the centre.

On Saturday 27th August there will be an extra treat where you can bring the kids to come and meet our Jack Sparrow look-a-like and visit our FREE Pirate Ship Children's Show at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm for some swash buckling fun.

Over the weekend, next to the Antique Centre on Llanthony Road, there will also be bouncy Castles, Water Balls and an inflatable Pirate Activity Ship .and Heart Fm will be joining in on the fun with games and giveaways .The Bank Holiday Weekend sees the return of Gloucester’s annual Tall Ships Festival!

The festival is undoubtedly Gloucester's most popular event for all ages, combining stunning Tall Ships and a flotilla of smaller boats and watercraft. There is also live music and entertainment, arts and crafts, kids activities, exotic market stalls, funfair attractions, museums and great food and drink.

The event takes place in our wonderful waterside setting close to the heart of the city, in and around the fantastic Gloucester Quays Outlet and Historic Docks.

In additional Cadburys will be holding a samples and special offers Cadburys Chocolate Fun week with Special Freddo Frog Appearances on Wednesday 24th August at: 12:30pm -1pm, 1:30pm – 2pm, 2:30pm – 3pm and Thursday 25th August at: 12pm -12:30pm, 1pm -1:30pm, 2pm – 2:30pm.
