Gloucester Quays is one of the largest mixed use waterside regeneration developments in the U.K. The 60 acre development which commenced in 2005 will provide over 150,000 sq m (1.6 million sq ft) and include:

- Educational facilities of 19,500 sq m(210,000 sq ft)
- Over 1,000 residential units

Adjacent to the outlet centre is the existing Peel Centre, a 16,000 sq m (175,000 sq ft) retail park which includes Toys R Us and a 6-screen multiplex cinema (to be refurbished and extended).
