Celebrate Bastille Day with Côte Brasserie
05 Jul 2018
La Fête Nationale (or Bastille Day as we call it on these shores), commemorates the storming of the Bastille on 14th July 1789. This pivotal moment in French history is now celebrated as one of France's most important national holidays. Whether you are French, a Francophile or just like an excuse to celebrate, why not head to Gloucester’s only French restaurant for a taste of France on Bastille Day?
Inspired by the brasseries of Paris, Côte Brasserie serve a host of traditional French dishes, including favourites such as moules marinères, steak frites and the best crème caramel you’ll find this side of the channel. Situated on Merchant road, Côte is the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch with the family, quick lunch whilst shopping with friends or an intimate dinner date.
In honour of this special day we thought we would give you a reason to celebrate too, we have teamed up with Côte Brasserie to give you lots to enjoy over the Bastille Day celebrations. Côte staff will be out and about in Gloucester Quays, serving delicious French canapés. They are also offering 3 great prizes in a competition, keep an eye out for this on our Facebook page. Lastly, Côte will be giving away complimentary Pampelle Spritz cocktails over the Bastille Day weekend, follow us on Facebook for more details of how to claim this offer.
